::Largest mosque in the maldives. The marbles make the place cool down even when the sun is on top. It can hold a lot of people. Also held many events inside. They have several rooms where you can have meetings. Friday prayer and Eid Prayer is the most busiest. All the other prayers not so busy. This is one of the place you should visit if you are a first time visiter in the Maldives. I hope this is helpful..

::Beautiful mosque! 🕌 With the Islamic centre/ministry of Islamic affairs Maldives it is the biggest and the most beautiful mosque of Maldives. With a golden dome it stands out amongst all the buildings and can be seen from far and wide. The pictures cant do justice to the LIVE mosque. Islamic fairs are held on regular basis to promote and invite people to accept Islam.

::Islamic Centre Male' Maldives The most famous architectural landmark of Male’ is the three-storey Islamic Centre, opened in November 1984. The Center's Grand Friday Mosque, Masjid-al-Sultan Muhammad Thakurufaanu-al-A'z'am, is the biggest in the Maldives, accommodating more than 5,000 worshippers. The shining golden dome of the mosque is a standout as are also the interior walls decorated with beautiful woodcarvings and Arabic calligraphy. The Center also houses a library and a conference hall. This mosque gives a facelift to the view of Male' and its the best. Tourists are allowed to enter here with proper attire. See noticeboard outside for instructions.

::This is the biggest mosque in Maldives. The Islamic Centre is incorporated into this building. This elegant building was built with donations coming from muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Brunei etc. The staircase us made from non-slip cold marble. It can easily fit 5000 people and 10000 or more within its perimeter.
