  an island fully reclaimed which is well planned and managed by Housing Development Corporation (HDC).. currently the island is populated roughly 25 thousand people and more people are going to settle on this island since many housing developments are under way. apart from this the island has an industrial zone and a tourist guest house area where many guest houses are being operated.

  Artificially made island just next to airport to ease congestion in Male'. Mostly during the day time you can find very few people moving around and can be crowded on weekends and public holidays. Beach is nice and good for swimming and there are number water sports centers around the beach. There are number of guest houses and hotels good for tourists who are transiting or longer stays at affordable rates.

  One of the lovely to visit in Maldives having such a beautiful beach with lot's of holiday activity also have the bikini beach where you can enjoy the difference food BBQ, local Maldivian food, Chinese, Indian....etc . Best way to spend your evening in central park with lots of people from different countries relaxing there with family and friends its also have the out door gym such a nice place for workout . Even to watch a movie can be best time of your holiday in cinema and little shopping market.

  Good place, better than Male, this island is less crowded and full of scooters, it has better beaches. There are too few places too eat or things to do, this is a residential island more than a touristic one. Cleanliness could be improved, there are piles of construction materials everywhere.
