  We originally booked to stay at Rare Stay Hotel, but we didn't even get to stay there! We were told they were having electrical problems, and we were transported to stay at Visit Beach Inn instead. We were told that Rare Stay, Visit Beach Inn and Relax Beach Inn are under the same owner. If Rare Stay indeed has electrical problem since beginning Apr 14 and not fixed, why is it still accepting booking till this very day? Why did they not inform us beforehand? At Visit Beach Inn, we were checked into a standard room. We had initially booked the super deluxe room in Rare Stay, and for 2 nights, the difference in cost is US50. The owner did not take the initiative to compensate us. They said they will upgrade us to the Deluxe room, and even the family suite. Somehow, these rooms were unavailable the entire day. Coincidentally, they said guests have locked up both these rooms with their luggage inside even after they have checked out and therefore can't release the better rooms for us. We gave up trying to upgrade the room, and asked to be compensated for the difference after much discussion with the manager Ali. They only paid us the difference on the last night of our stay. The whole experience at Visit Beach Inn was horrible. The room did not have any basic amenities that you expect a 3 star hotel should provide. Renovation in the neighbourhood was noisy. Above the room entrance door, a glass panel allowed anyone to see into our room. A cockroach roamed in the room. Staff were not trained at customer service at all. The bathroom sewage was clogged after our first night. An accommodation like this don't deserve a 3 star rating! This is by far the worst accommodation experience we've had so far and no other guests should subject themselves to such scam & treatment. We seriously urge Agoda to remove Rare Stay, Visit Beach Inn and Relax Beach listing from their website. Avoid all these hotels at all cost.
