  One of the best destination for your relaxing vacation. Hotel staffs are all nice, indeed. Might be changed your impression of whole holiday here whether sunny or cloudy. We love love love velassaru !

  I have been blessed w being able to travel around several places in the world (Cuba, Spain several cities, USA many states, Dominican Republic, Bahamas various islands within, Jamaica, Bimini, Curacao, Dubai, & now honored to include: Maldives... my dream island since i was 18.. Now i am here & have to say IT IS BEYOND MY DREAMS.. Not only is the beauty of the surrounding... It is the People in it that make it so unique & priceless. Some things cannot be beat.. the staff in this Island has no words in the diccionary big enough to describe them. If there are places & human beings that we must meet in our life, this is the main one. Thank you, not only for making my dream come true but mainly for being who you are, all so special in your own different ways. Unforgettable staff now friends & island

  Velassaru is a beautiful island resort, with both on-beach and over-water villas, many with their own plunge pools. For those who like to venture into the sea, the house reef is full of beautiful and varied fish, as profuse as I have seen anywhere. There are five restaurants, varying from tapas and buffet to quite swanky. As you might expect in a small resort on its own island, none is inexpensive, but the food is delicious and beautifully prepared. There are some water sports available, as well as a dive centre and fishing expeditions, a small gym and a tennis court, but it is 28-32C every day, so this is mostly a resort for relaxing - if you want to be active every day, you might look elsewhere. We love it here, and this is our second time - not disappointed!
