::Before it was renovated, when this place was known as Sultan Park, this was a beautiful green space, open to anyone. Now that it's been reopened, the place is covered is garish coloured lights, using a lot of electricity, and it is now not free for foreigners to access. Maldivians can access the park free of charge, but there is now a quite high fee for foreigners, meaning that migrant workers can no longer acess the park because they cannot afford the entrance fee.
