  Me and my wife were on Olhuveli in late June 2018 for 10 nights for our honeymoon. It was the first time for us visiting the Maldives and we really loved it. The resort was great. Perfect size for us, you can have nice walks on the beach but can reach the important facilities from everywhere in less than 5 minutes. The whole staff was always very friendly and helpful. The food and beverages were great and we had a lot of variety. We also chose Olhuveli because of the various honeymoon offers. We got a room upgrade at arrival which was really great. We had 2 excursions free (instead of 1 for the normal all inclusive guests). We got a 3 course candlelight dinner at the Thai restaurant. And we got a fruit basket, half a bottle of champaign and a bottle of red wine. Currently the island is expanding which means that in the east of Olhuveli the small island which was until the latest Google maps sattelite picture untouched gets expanded (made bigger by putting a lot of sand into the ocean ;-)). Depending on where you currently have your room on the island, you will see and hear the construction site. We first had a new beach bungalow in the north east of the island and for our taste the noise was noticeable the whole day. There are also some renovation works ongoing on the island itself of existing rooms and building some new beach bungalows as well. I guess that's normal for low season. So the very helpful staff at the reception made us an offer and we moved to a water villa in the south west on which we enjoyed the calm and privacy. So we really have nothing to be mad about, we had a great honeymoon. But we would have been glad if we had that information before booking. The expansion of the island should be finished (according to the managers) by Q4 2018 and adds a lot of new water villas. So for the main season you should be fine again regarding the noise. To summarize: definitely a great resort, we would recommend it (hence the 5 stars). We can recommend the water villas which offer great privacy and calm and are near the infinity pool and Dhoni bar which was our favorite place to hang out during the day.

  Esperienza fantastica! Abbiamo soggiornato su questo splendido atollo per 6 notti ad Aprile, tramite un viaggio organizzato da Azemar, acquistato presso un agenzia a Milano. Il tempo non è stato dei migliori, ovvero su 6 notti ha piovuto 4 notti e anche la prima mattina che eravamo lì, ma per il resto seppur spesso nuvoloso il clima era perfetto per stare all'aria aperta, in piscina e comunque per abbronzarsi. Eravamo alloggiati, su nostra richiesta, sulle Deluxe Water Villa, che rispetto alle Sunset WaterVilla e Jacuzzi WaterVilla sono un po' più datate, ma comunque stupende per godersi il mare ed avere una privacy migliore rispetto alle sistemazioni sull'atollo. La watervilla ha una superficie di 65 mq, davvero comoda e spaziosa per due persone, l'unico appunto che possiamo fare è che avrebbero potuto migliorare la privacy coprendo la visibilità delle terrazze delle watervilla dalla passerella. L'atollo è lungo circa 800 metri e ben strutturato, con più ristoranti e bar, 3 piscine, centro benessere, centro sportivo e numerose attività da fare. Il trattamento "All inclusive" da noi acquistato, tramite Azemar si è rivelato eccezionale ovvero era veramente tutto compreso e nello specifico oltre a colazione pranzo e cena avevamo ogni genere di bevanda incluso, alcolici compresi sia durante i pasti sia presso i vari bar durante tutto il giorno. In pratica non ci siamo fatti mancare nulla e non abbiamo speso un euro di extra! Per quanto riguarda il personale (maldiviano e non) si è sempre dimostrato premuroso e gentile, forse era d'aiuto il fatto che il resort era pieno al 60% ma possiamo dire che non abbiamo mai atteso più di pochissimi minuti le ordinazioni. Era presente sull'isola Lucrezia, assistente di Azemar, italiana, che oltre ad esser stata super professionale è stata di compagnia anche qualche volta a pranzo con noi. Il pacchetto All-Inclusive avevamo inoltre in omaggio 1 cena alla carta al Lagoon Restaurant, un massaggio di 15 minuti a testa, un giro con la moto d'acqua, un escursione a scelta (noi abbiamo optato per lo snorkeling) e il book fotografico per il quale due foto erano gratis. Potevamo inoltre usufruire gratuitamente del sup e delle canoe in qualsiasi momento desideravamo, utilizzare il biliardo, il badminton e il campo da tennis sempre senza alcun costo ne prenotazione. Il cibo al Sunset Restaurant (dove erano previsti tutti pasti) era sempre eccezionale, ci troviamo in disaccordo su altre recensioni che parlano di poca scelta, abbiamo mangiato di tutto e sempre benissimo! Insomma... questo resort lo stra-consigliamo a tutti !!

  Csak egy rövid éjszakát töltöttem itt vacsorával és reggelivel, de a hangulat megfogott. A személyzet is végtelenül kedves volt. Jó lett volna világosban is körbejárni.
